Terms of Service

Welcome to La Alameda Boutique Hotel. By booking a reservation with us, you agree to comply with the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before completing your booking.

Booking & Payment

  • All reservations must be made through our official website or an authorized booking platform.

  • A valid payment method is required to confirm your booking.

  • Full payment may be required at the time of booking or prior to check-in.

  • Additional charges may apply for extra services requested by the guest.

  • All payments are securely processed via Stripe. 

Fulfillment of Service

Upon successful payment, guests will receive a confirmation email with their booking details, including check-in/check-out instructions. Access to the property will be provided on the scheduled check-in date via self-check-in instructions or key pickup as outlined in the booking confirmation

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Free Cancellation:
 

  • You can cancel your reservation with no penalty up to 14 days before your check-in date unless you booked a non refundable reservation.
     

Partial Cancellation Fee:

  • Cancellations made 8 to 14 days before check-in will incur a cancellation fee of 80% of the total booking amount.
     

Late Cancellation & No-Shows:
 

  • Cancellations made after 12:00 AM, 7 days before check-in will be 100% non-refundable.

  • No refunds will be provided for no-shows or early check-outs.
     

Rescheduling Policy:

  • If you need to cancel and wish to reschedule, we will waive the cancellation fee and retain your payment.

  • Your new booking must be made for the same number of nights and must be scheduled within 12 months of the original check-in date.

  • Any difference in room rates due to seasonal pricing may apply.
     

Additional Guest Fee:

​

  • Adding an additional guest after check-in is subject to a $15 fee per guest.

 

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Chargeback & Fraud Policy

  • Chargebacks or disputes initiated without prior contact may result in a ban from future bookings.

  • We reserve the right to provide evidence to our payment processor in cases of fraudulent claims.

  • Any unauthorized payment disputes may result in additional legal action.

Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in time: 3:00 PM Check-out time: 11:00 AM.

  • Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and additional fees.

  • Guests must return keys or access cards at check-out. A replacement fee may apply for lost keys.

Guest Responsibilities & House Rules

  • Guests must comply with local laws and rental property policies.

  • No smoking, unauthorized parties, or excessive noise.

  • Maximum occupancy limits must be respected.

  • Pets are not allowed unless explicitly stated in your booking confirmation.

  • Any damages or excessive cleaning required may result in additional charges.

Security Deposit & Damages

  • We reserve the right to charge a security deposit at check-in to cover damages or incidental charges.

  • If damages occur, guests may be held responsible for repair or replacement costs.

  • Charges may apply for excessive cleaning, missing items, or property damage.

Liability & Disclaimers

  • La Alameda Boutique Hotel is not responsible for injuries, lost items, or damages to personal property during your stay.

  • Guests assume responsibility for their personal safety and belongings.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or evict guests who violate policies without a refund.

Compliance with Local Laws & Taxes

  • Guests are responsible for any local occupancy taxes required by law.

  • La Alameda Boutique Hotel complies with all relevant short-term rental regulations.

  • Guests must comply with all state and local health and safety laws during their stay.

Privacy & Data Use

  • ​We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Your data may be used for booking confirmations, communications, and legal compliance.

Force Majeure Clause

  • We are not liable for cancellations or modifications due to unforeseen circumstances, such as:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Pandemics or emergencies

  • Acts of God

Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms of Service at any time.

  • Guests will be notified of any significant changes before they take effect.
